Our Tallow Face Oil is a silky, dewy treatment formulated with local, dry-rendered suet tallow, Canadian grown meadowfoam & cranberry seed oils, and CoQ10 to support elasticity, barrier repair, and lasting hydration. We’ve infused the formula with wild-harvested fireweed flowers, known in traditional herbalism for their soothing, anti-inflammatory properties—ideal for calming reactive or sensitive skin.

This face oil is lightly scented with wild harvested balsam fir, black spruce, and a touch of rose offering a subtle, woodland yet floral scent and a deeply grounding ritual.

Ingredients

Limnanthes alba, Squalane, Adeps bovis, Vaccinium macrocarpon, Ubiquinone, Cera alba, Tocopherol, Epilobium angustifolium, Simmondsia chinensis, Abies sibirica, Rosa damascena, Picea mariana.

Usage

Apply 3–5 drops to damp skin after cleansing or misting with toner. Gently massage or press into the face and neck using upward motions. Use morning or evening as a daily moisturizer, or layer beneath a balm for extra nourishment. Tallow is best absorbed when skin is still slightly damp, allowing its nutrients to lock in hydration and deeply restore.

Another fantastic new product

I just tried this for the first time this morning and loved it immediately. The scent is simply divine! It is a bit lighter on the skin than the tallow serum but definitely similar in scent. All your products have been great for my skin :-)

The only product your skin will need

I've been using this product as part of the 'testing' phase for the past several months and let me tell you, Boreal Folk has done it again. I've been loving all their tallow products and this one is unique and fantastic. I love that it's mostly made of Canadian ingredients, the product is so nourishing on the skin. I have rosacea and it's helped reduce inflammation and redness flares. My skin in dewy, plump & noticeably more nourished. I use it morning & night. I spritz the rosehip toner on my skin and while its damp, I apply 4 drops to lock in the moisture. Its scent is so subtle yet grounding. I love black spruce and rose mixed together! SO GOOD. I have the most sensitive and reactive skin and this has been the best product I've come across. Highly recommend! PS. The new Vit C serum is also the bees knees!
